Four printing apps you should have if you’re always on the go

Your iPhone becomes more and more like a mobile office every single day. Think about everything you can do on your phone these days compared to what it was like a few years ago. You have some smart cookies out there who can almost run their entire business from their iPhone. It means you don’t need to be tied down by anything. You don’t need to be stuck in the office all day when you can easily do something using your phone. But all is not perfect in the Smartphone world. There’s some things that obviously aren’t as easy as they would be on a desktop computer.
One thing that springs to mind is the ability to print something. If you’re on your computer it’s very easy to click print, whereas it’s not the same on the iPhone. In the past you’d have to transfer files from your phone to the computer. It was actually quite annoying. Now you just need a few great printing apps on your phone and everything is made much easier. Let’s take a look at a few amazing ones you might like to try and hopefully they’ll go a little towards making you fully-operational on the move.

ePrint Free

You definitely want to have this one in your collection and in case the name never gave it away it’s absolutely free. With this app you have the power to connect remotely to any Wi-Fi printer. It really does mean you can print lovely pictures while you’re on the move. The only bad thing is that you can’t print any existing documents, only your photos. It’s not the end of the world considering the app is free and it’s still packed full of cool features. You can also get a paid version that lets you print much more copies of something at the same time.

Print

It’s the most simple name you could ever think of and it really reflects how simple this app is to use. You can print out any web pages or photos, but sadly you won’t be able to print out those documents. You’ll need to install a program on your computer and this enables anyone on the same network to go in and print anything using their phone. If you’re not anywhere near the Wi-Fi you can still print things over 3G, although passwords will need to be set so you don’t end up with random prints in your tray.

Air Sharing Pro

This one is stepping closer in the right direction and it allows you to print documents. You won’t be able to print Word documents, but PDF’s and Txt files are good to go. The app will scan networks and find any shared printers that are connected to Mac’s which you can then use. Unfortunately you won’t be able to do the same with PC’s which is a bit of a letdown. You still have the power to print out any pictures, so it’s not just documents this app deals with.

ezShare Pro

This one can’t print photos, so hopefully you liked the look of one of the above apps. This one is the king of documents and it can print out almost anything. This is perfect for someone who wants to take the office with them everywhere they go. You can log into most cloud-based servers where you store your documents and they can be printed off if you need them. Apart from not being able to print photos, it also doesn’t work with any Windows printers. All in all, it’s a great app you should definitely have on your phone.
